Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these loops in my productions?
Yes, copyright law means you can use these loops, so long as they are incorporated as part of your musical production.
You cannot legally give away or sell these loops as the copyright still belongs to Sampletracks.com. So long as the loops are
incorporated in your work, you can legally sell your finished work.
What does copyright law mean?
There are lots of rumours and untruths regarding use of other people's music. It is not true that you can use up to 30 seconds of
someone else's tune or recording without having to pay royalties or applying for permission. All recordings belong to the original
artist and the artist must be contacted in order to gain legal permission for its use. Sometimes this may mean paying the artist for
use of their work. All Sampletracks loops are copyright cleared, so you can use them in your own productions but must not give them
away or sell them as your own.
Why do you give away the loops?
All Sampletracks loops are free for download. We do this to attract music producers to our website. You may have noticed that there are
links to our music shop and other adverts which we hope you will take advantage of. Sampletracks is paid for advertising on this site.
Who produces the loops?
Sampletracks have a team of professional loops producers all over the World who are paid a share of our profit for their work.
